Hobark International Limited (HIL) is the parent company of the Hobark group operating in the oil and gas industry. The company was incorporated in 1998, starting as a staffing agency based in Port Harcourt. Currently we have offices in 4 countries with our head office in Lagos.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Gas System & Plant Engineer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Job Type: Full-Time/Contract

Description

• This role will play a critical role in the design, operation, maintenance, and optimization of gas systems and plant facilities.

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in gas processing technologies (e.g., NGL recovery, dehydration, sweetening).
• Proficiency in the use of process simulation software such as Aspen HYSYS, AutoCAD, or related tools.
• Familiarity with rotating equipment, pipelines, and gas compression systems. 
• Strong ability to analyze complex engineering problems and propose innovative solutions.
• Proficiency in data analysis and performance optimization. 
• Experience with project lifecycle management, including planning, execution, and evaluation.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and stakeholder expectations 
• Thorough understanding of Nigerian and international oil and gas industry standards and regulations (e.g., DPR, ISO, API).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
