Job Description

• We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our healthcare team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for performing laboratory tests, analyzing samples, and ensuring the accuracy of diagnostic results to support patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and specialized laboratory tests on patient samples.
• Prepare specimens for analysis and ensure proper documentation.
• Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality control procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and report findings to medical professionals.
• Assist in the development and implementation of laboratory policies.
• Adhere to all regulatory and accreditation requirements.
• Maintains patient confidence by keeping laboratory information confidential.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be a certified laboratory technician from a recognized school of Health Technology with a minimum of 2 years working experience in hospital settings.
• Valid certification and licensure as a Medical Laboratory Technician.
• Proficiency in laboratory techniques and equipment handling.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Must be Computer literate.
