Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Locations: Abuja (FCT) and Edo

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 2-8 years experience.

Technical Skills:

  • Medication Knowledge: Understanding different medications, dosages, routes of administration, and potential interactions is crucial.
  • Prescription Filling: Accurately preparing prescriptions, including counting pills, labeling bottles, and ensuring correct dosages.
  • Inventory Management: Tracking stock levels, ordering medications, and managing expiration dates.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in using pharmacy software for prescription processing, inventory management, and insurance claims.
  • Math Skills: Performing calculations related to dosages, conversions, and medication strengths.
  • Sterile and Non-Sterile Compounding: Preparing medications in a sterile environment or using non-sterile processes, depending on the specific pharmacy setting.

Soft Skills:

  • Communication Skills: Interacting with patients, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to answer questions, address concerns, and provide accurate information.
  • Customer Service Skills: Providing friendly and helpful service to patients, answering questions, and resolving issues.
