We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Assistant Turbine Manager

Location: Apapa, Lagos

Purpose of the Job

  • To support the operation and maintenance of Siemens gas turbines, auxiliaries and other related infrastructure in efficient ways to improve plant availability and sustain equipment reliabilities.

The Job

  • Lead work planning efforts to ensure that all scheduled work is done in accordance with the sites established maintenance plan.
  • Execute Lead and support the Gas Turbines Technicians in troubleshooting, calibration, repair, and retrofitting of electrical (instrumentation & Automation), mechanical and hydraulic components.
  • Coordinates Assist and/or provide training and support to the Gas Turbine Technicians so that each technician clearly understands how to perform component assembly, commissioning, testing, repair and maintenance on gas turbine generators.
  • Lead the implementation of Root Cause Analysis and FMECA studies.
  • Work on multiple projects in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet plant, contractual and company requirements.
  • To Ensure reduction in OEM interventions on repairs of breakdown on turbo machineries and auxiliaries.
  • Ensures and follow up on the creation and execution of maintenance job orders.

Qualifications
Experience:

  • B.Sc. in Electrical Electronics Engineering
  • M.Sc. Engineering would be an added advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role. 
  • Membership with NSE/COREN.

The Person Must:

  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills with solid attention to detail.
  • Must possess clear and accurate reporting skills.
  • Considerable knowledge of the occupational hazards and appropriate safety.
