Job Summary
- The Factory HR Executive is responsible for managing HR operations at the factory level, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and employee welfare.
- This role ensures the effective implementation of HR policies and workforce strategies to maintain a productive and engaged workforce. The Factory HR Executive will collaborate with factory leadership to align HR functions with business objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
Recruitment & Workforce Planning:
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract skilled factory workers.
- Coordinate onboarding and induction programs for new hires.
- Maintain workforce planning to meet production requirements effectively.
Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Act as the primary HR contact for employee relations matters at the factory.
- Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and morale.
- Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts professionally and fairly.
Performance Management & Training:
- Support performance management processes, including appraisals and feedback sessions.
- Identify training needs and coordinate skill development programs.
- Work with department heads to enhance employee capabilities and growth.
Compliance & HR Administration:
- Ensure adherence to labor laws, company policies, and health & safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and disciplinary documentation.
- Manage payroll inputs, leave records, and attendance tracking.
Health, Safety, and Welfare:
- Promote policies that enhance employee health and safety.
- Oversee welfare initiatives such as medical support and employee assistance programs.
- Address employee grievances and escalate issues when necessary.
Educational Qualifications, Experience & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field. A Master’s degree or HR certification is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 4 years of HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Experience in managing factory workforce recruitment, training, and employee relations.
- Excellent problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS, Microsoft Office Suite, and payroll management systems
