Accountant at Speedaf Express

Speedaf is a joint-venture company formed from the YIWILL HOLDINGS and ZTO in 2019. We are currently building an intra-Africa and China-Africa service network to support air, road and sea transportation with the aim to be the leading diversified integrated logistics solution provider between China and Africa. Speedaf offers a variety of products and services with value added service to cover different business or personal scenarios for our customers. Since our launch, Speedaf has continued to expand its global network, developing products, improving customer experience, and introducing IT technologies and equipment to realize automatic operations.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Berger, Ogun

Job Summary

• The Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial reports, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. 
• You will collaborate with finance and leadership teams to provide insights that drive business growth.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process all accounting transactions such as disbursement, cash receipts, etc.
• Ensure timely submission of monthly request, reconciliations and financial statement reports.
• Maintain accurate bank records of cash withdrawal and deposits.
• Provide administrative, logistical, and procurement support to the team.
• Fund Management: Manage cash in and out, allocate funds reasonably.
• Monitor cost expenditures, and improve fund utilization efficiency.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets and forecasts.
• Conduct internal audits and financial risk assessments.
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• File tax returns on time and ensure compliance according to account standards.
• Other duties assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations.
• Experience with financial reporting and forecasting.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and financial modeling.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet financial deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Salary
N80,000 - N100,000 Monthly.
