Ably resources are currently seeking an experienced Tow Master to work on an ongoing project in Nigeria.

Job Description:
The Tow Master will be responsible for the FPSO according to International Conventions and Regulations including Flag State, Company and local requirements. 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Responsibility for safety and operation of the vessel including safe navigation. 
  • Compliance with international and local laws of Flag, State and Country. 
  • Follow and co ordinate vessels involved in marine operation and buoy launching, towing and mooring. 
  • Ensure Company Safety Management System and controlled documents are up to date and followed to procedure. 
  • Manoeuvre and control the FPSO in all navigable waters. 
  • Ensure preparations for all emergencies. 

Requirements:
  • Unlimited marine certificate
  • Manage Vessel stability conditions
  • Knowledge and implementation of HSE Management system
  • SM/ISPS and other Marine Legislation
  • Material and Equipment Management - Control
  • Mooring activities
  • Support vessels coordination
  • You will be experienced in this position with a minimum of 15 years experience in a similar role and 2 years in a Senior position. This is a 28/28 rotation paid per day worked.
