Job Description
- The St. Bridget’s Schools is seeking an Art Director that will oversee and administrate the performing arts program.
- The candidate shall be responsible for the management and administration of the institution’s performance groups.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities of this role will include but are not limited to the following:
- Acting as educational leader and role model to students participating in performing arts program.
- Working with students, parents, and faculty to coordinate events and activities.
- Recruiting and encouraging students to participate in the performing arts program.
- Planning rehearsals and performance schedules in compliance with other school activities.
- Planning and coordinating extra-curricular activities and performances for students.
- Planning and coordinating auditions for performing arts program.Engaging in community outreach to increase community involvement in performing arts program.
- Coordinating and participating in country-wide competitions.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum HND certificate in Art, Education or related field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of demonstrated success administering a performing arts program or equivalent.
- Prior experience working in an educational institution is highly preferred.
