About the Job

• We are looking for an experienced Team Lead, Credit to lead our credit team in evaluating and processing loan applications, managing credit risk, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of credit officers to achieve credit objectives
• Evaluate complex loan applications and assess the creditworthiness of applicants
• Conduct credit checks and verify customer information
• Manage credit risk and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with customers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
• Analyze credit data to identify trends and inform future strategies

Qualifications

• HND / Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in credit risk management, preferably in the financial services industry
• Proven track record of effective credit risk assessment and management
• Excellent leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Strong understanding of credit risk management principles and regulatory requirements
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
