Job Title: Multi-Skill Welder - Oil & Gas Construction Projects

Locations: Warri, Delta / Offshore / Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Contract

Summary

• We are currently recruiting highly skilled and experienced professionals for ongoing and upcoming projects. 

Key Responsibilities

• Welding Operations: Perform welding tasks using SMAW (6GR), GTAW (2G & 5G), and SMAW+GTAW (2G+5G) techniques.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all welding work meets Company specifications and quality standards.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to HES (Health, Environment, and Safety) standards and Company procedures.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of welding activities, including inspection reports and certification documents.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other welders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues related to welding promptly.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: OND in a technical subject.
• Certification: ABS Certified.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of offshore work experience as a Multi-Skill Welder.

Skills:

• Proficiency in SMAW (6GR), GTAW (2G & 5G), and SMAW+GTAW (2G+5G) techniques.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Certifications:

• OPITO Basic Offshore Survival Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET).
• Additional certifications in welding inspection or NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) are an advantage.
