We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Engineer (I&E, Electrical, or HVAC) - Oil & Gas Construction Projects

Location: Port Harcourt / Offshore, Rivers / Warri, Delta
Employment Type: Contract

Job Summary

• The Engineer (I&E, Electrical, or HVAC) will oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of instrumentation, electrical, and HVAC systems for construction support services on client facilities.
• The role involves ensuring the safe and efficient operation of these systems, in compliance with company and industry standards

Responsibilities

• System Design and Implementation: Lead the design, installation, and commissioning of I&E, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of these systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all activities adhere to HES (Health, Environment, and Safety) standards and Company procedures.
• Project Management: Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of engineering activities, including design documents, inspection reports, and certification records.
• Team Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
• Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.

Requirements

• Education: BSC or equivalent in a technical subject (Electrical, Instrumentation, or HVAC Engineering).
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of project and offshore work experience in I&E, electrical, or HVAC systems.

Certifications:

• OPITO Basic Offshore Survival Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET).
• Additional certifications in engineering or project management (e.g., PMP, CEng) are an advantage.

  Skills:

• Proficiency in designing and maintaining I&E, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent project management and leadership abilities.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Competencies:

• Technical Expertise: In-depth understanding of I&E, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Attention to Detail: Ensure all engineering activities meet Company specifications and safety standards.
