Job Title: Certified Scaffolder / Rigger - Oil & Gas Construction Projects

Location: Warri, Delta / Offshore - Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Contract

Job Summary

• We are currently recruiting highly skilled and experienced professionals for ongoing and upcoming projects. 
• The Certified Scaffolder / Rigger will be responsible for the erection, dismantling, and maintenance of scaffolding structures, as well as rigging operations for construction support services on client facilities. 
• The role involves ensuring the safe and efficient execution of scaffolding and rigging tasks, in compliance with company and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Scaffolding and Rigging Operations: Erect, dismantle, and maintain scaffolding structures and perform rigging tasks according to project specifications.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all scaffolding and rigging activities adhere to HES (Health, Environment, and Safety) standards and Company procedures.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of scaffolding and rigging activities, including inspection reports and certification documents.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other technicians to ensure seamless project execution.
• Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues related to scaffolding and rigging promptly.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: OND or school certificate.
• Certification: Up-to-date certification by an accredited organization.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of offshore work experience as a Certified Scaffolder / Rigger.

Skills:

• Proficiency in scaffolding and rigging techniques and equipment.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Certifications:

• OPITO Basic Offshore Survival Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET).
• Additional certifications in scaffolding inspection or rigging are an advantage.
