Job Title: Technician (Electrical / I & E / HVAC)  -  Oil & Gas Construction Projects 

Location: Warri, Delta / Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Contract

Job Summary

• The Technician (Electrical / I & E / HVAC) will support electrical, instrumentation, and HVAC systems for construction support services on client facilities.
• The role involves ensuring the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of these systems in compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• System Maintenance: Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical, instrumentation, and HVAC systems.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all activities adhere to HES (Health, Environment, and Safety) standards and Company procedures.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including inspection reports and certification documents.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other technicians to ensure seamless project execution.
• Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues related to electrical, instrumentation, and HVAC systems promptly.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: HND / OND or equivalent in a technical subject.
• Experience: Minimum of 7 years of offshore work experience as a Technician in Electrical, I & E, or HVAC systems.
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in electrical, instrumentation, and HVAC systems.
  • Strong knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Certifications:
  • OPITO Basic Offshore Survival Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET).
  • Additional certifications in electrical or HVAC systems are an advantage.
