Job Title: Certified Pipe Welder - Oil & Gas Construction Projects

Location: Warri, Delta / Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Summary

• The Certified Pipe Welder will perform welding activities for construction support services on client facilities.
• The role involves executing high-quality pipe welding tasks, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Pipe Welding Operations: Perform welding tasks on pipes using approved techniques and materials.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all welding work meets company specifications and quality standards.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to HES (Health, Environment, and Safety) standards and Company procedures.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of welding activities, including inspection reports and certification documents.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other welders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Problem-solving: Identify and resolve issues related to welding promptly.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: OND or school certificate.
• Certification: ABS Certification.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of offshore work experience as a Certified Pipe Welder.

Skills:

• Proficiency in pipe welding techniques and equipment.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Certifications:

• OPITO Basic Offshore Survival Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET).
• Additional certifications in welding inspection or NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) are an advantage.
