We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Certified Pipe Fitter - Oil & Gas Construction Projects

Location: Warri, Delta / Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Contract

Job Summary

• The Certified Pipe Fitter will be responsible for the installation, assembly, and maintenance of piping systems for construction support services on client facilities. 
• The role involves ensuring the safe and efficient execution of pipe fitting tasks, in compliance with company and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Pipe Fitting Operations: Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems according to project specifications.
• Safety Compliance:  Ensure all pipe fitting activities adhere to HES (Health, Environment, and Safety) standards and Company procedures.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of pipe fitting activities, including inspection reports and certification documents.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other technicians to ensure seamless project execution.
• Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues related to pipe fitting promptly.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: OND or school certificate.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of offshore work experience as a Certified Pipe Fitter.

Skills:

• Proficiency in pipe fitting techniques and equipment.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Certifications:

• OPITO Basic Offshore Survival Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET).
• Additional certifications in pipe fitting or related fields are an advantage.
