Job Summary

  • The Head of Strategic Communications will lead the development and execution of our external and internal communications strategy, fostering a positive and consistent image of our organization.
  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating and implementing successful communications strategies, managing high-performing teams, and building strong relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy: Aligning with business objectives, enhancing reputation, and promoting our brand.
  • Lead and manage the communications team: Providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Media relations and crisis communications: Building and maintaining relationships with media representatives, managing crisis communications, and protecting our reputation.
  • Internal communications: Developing and implementing internal communications strategies to engage employees, promote our culture, and drive business outcomes.
  • Reputation management: Monitoring and managing our online reputation, addressing negative feedback, and promoting positive reviews.
  • Content creation and management: Developing and managing content across various channels, including social media, website, and print materials.
  • Budget management: Managing the communications budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and ROI.
  • Stakeholder engagement: Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, customers, partners, and influencers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field: A master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in communications or public relations: Experience in a leadership role is essential.
  • Proven track record of success: Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful communications strategies, manage teams, and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including media, employees, customers, and investors.
  • Strong leadership and management skills: Experience in leading and managing high-performing teams, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.
  • Crisis communications and reputation management expertise: Experience in managing crisis communications and protecting reputation.
  • Budget management and analytical skills: Ability to manage budgets, analyze data, and measure ROI.
