University of Maiduguri - Application forms for Admission into Centre for Distance Learning Programmes are now available for sale online.

Available Programmes

Through Distance Learning are:

1.1) B.A.Ed:-

1.2) B. Sc. Ed:-

  • Geography
  • Health Education
1.3) B.Ed. Adult Education:-
  • Arabic
  • English
  • History
  • Islamic Studies
  • Sociology
1.4) B.Sc:-
  • Accountancy
  • Business Administration
  • Public Administration
Duration and Mode of Study
All degree programmes run for four/five years depending on the point of entry.
The mode of study for all the programmes is through course materials supplemented by tutorials at designated study centres.

Entry Requirements
i.) 100 Level
  • Candidates with TC II or flve O/level credit pass (including English and Mathematics), in relevant subjects to the Course applied.
ii.) 200 Level
  • Candidate with Degree, ND or NCE and OND with not less than lower credit pass and with TC II or five O/level credit pass (including English and Mathematics), in relevant subjects to the Course applied.
Application Closing Date
30th November, 2015.

Method of Application

Interested Applicants are to:
  • Pay the sum of Five Thousand Naira only (5,000) at any of Branches of Fidelity Bank Plc nearest to you for your PIN SCRATCH CARD.
  • Visit the Centre for Distance Learning: www.unimaidcdl.edu.ng/apply-now to generate Reference Number PIN.
  • Log onto the same website to fill and submit the application form online after which you are to print the application form & the acknowledge slip for your own use as evidence only (not for submission). Opportunity has been provide for candidates to come back and correct any error or provide information which are not readily available while filling the form online.
