Job Title: Head of IT (Software Architect)

Role Overview

• We’re looking for a strategic and innovative Head of IT to lead the technology vision for our cinema group. This role is central to elevating the customer experience through seamless, secure, and future-forward digital platforms—from ticketing and POS to mobile apps and loyalty systems.
• You’ll guide our digital transformation journey, optimize infrastructure, and drive tech initiatives that make every visit memorable.

Key Responsibilities

• Technology Strategy: Define and lead the overall tech roadmap aligned with business goals and evolving customer needs.
• Cinema Systems Management: Oversee rollout, updates, and performance of all operational systems including POS and ticketing solutions.
• Digital Experience: Lead the innovation and ongoing improvement of customer-facing platforms—apps, websites, loyalty tools, etc.
• Infrastructure & Security: Ensure high availability, scalability, and cybersecurity across all cinema locations.
• Digital Transformation: Champion automation, cloud technologies (Azure), and data-driven decision-making company-wide.
• Vendor Management: Build strong partnerships with vendors; negotiate contracts and manage licenses for quality and cost-efficiency.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Operations, and other departments to maximize tech value and user engagement.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the IT team, ensuring efficient support and a proactive service mindset across the network.
• Innovation: Stay ahead of trends—AI, AR/VR, contactless solutions—and recommend new technologies that elevate the cinema experience.
• Compliance & Governance: Ensure all IT activities meet regulatory, data protection, and security standards.

What You’ll Bring
Education & Certifications:

• BSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
• Professional certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, Microsoft/Azure certs)

Experience:

• Strong background in IT systems architecture and infrastructure
• Proven success in leading diverse tech teams and delivering enterprise-scale projects
• Deep understanding of budgeting, IT planning, and business alignment
• Previous experience in entertainment, hospitality, or retail environments is a plus

Technical Competencies:

• Expertise in IT solution management, systems integration, and product implementation
• Advanced knowledge of Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and Azure AD
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure setup and management
• Familiarity with APIs and integration with third-party vendors (ticketing, analytics, etc.)
