Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

Locations: Abia and Lagos (Remote)
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary

• We are looking for a skilled and experienced Software Engineer to join our growing team. 
• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands on experience in software development, preferably with multiple startups, and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for performance and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high standards for code quality.
• Contribute ideas to improve system architecture and development processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering.
• Proven track record of building and deploying successful software projects.
• Experience working in startup environments.Strong knowledge of modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Tech Stack & Tools:

• Frontend: React, Vue.js, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, TailwindCSS
• Backend: Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), Ruby on Rails, Java, Go
• Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis
• DevOps/Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines
• Other Tools: Git, Jira, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets.

Salary
N500,000 monthly.
