Job Title: Business Development Manager (Francophone)
Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Permanent
Location and Areas of Coverage: African Francophone Countries
Direct Reports: NA
Line Manager: Executive Director, BD
Job Purpose
- To develop new businesses in assigned region, nurture and optimize the new and existing relationships with a view to deepening our market share.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement plans for business and revenue growth.
- Research, plan, and implement target marketing initiatives
- Research prospective clients in target markets
- Generate leads and follow through the sales cycle
- Develop business proposals and make presentations to prospective clients.
- Represent the company in business meetings
- Ensure client satisfaction
- Develop and implement strategies to avoid revenue losses and delay in payments from clients
- Review of EPP contracts and PPAs to ensure it aligns with agreement with clients
- Creating long-term value from customers, markets, and relationships.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Percentage of financial target achieved
- Number of leads generated and positively concluded
- Level of compliance with the company's CRM software
- Client attrition rate
- Number of new clients
- Number of projects renewed/extended at expiration
- Level of improvement in strategic initiative
- Ability to generate leads and effectively follow up on them
Qualifications & Experience Required
- Education Required: HND / Bachelor`s Degree in either of Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing or any relevant course (Professional qualification), Masters degree is an added advantage.
- Minimum Experience Required: Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Business Development, out of which at least 4 years must be in a relevant industry.
- Professional Certification Required: Membership of any professional body is an added advantage.

- Proficiency in English and French is mandatory.
