We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Financial Controller

Locations: Abia, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Delta, Enugu, Imo and Rivers

Duties / Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, and Inventory Accounting.
• Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes across all business units.
• Manage cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts to support business operations.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations (FIRS, PENCOM, ITF, NSITF, etc.).
• Coordinate external audits and liaise with tax consultants and government agencies.
• Support executive management with insights into the financial health of the business and recommend areas of improvement.
• Supervise and mentor the finance and accounts team.
• Evaluate and manage financial risks and opportunities.

Job Requirements

• First Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, or CPA (mandatory).
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive financial management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in agribusiness, food production, or FMCG is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, IFRS, and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
