Job Title: Landscaping and Horticultural Services Supervisor

Location: Ilara-Mokin, Ondo

Job Description

  • The Landscaping Horticultural Services Supervisor will oversee and coordinate landscaping and groundskeeping activities. 
  • This role requires strong leadership skills and managing a team effectively. 
  • The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of horticulture practices, project management, and customer service.
  • Experience in estimating project costs and reviewing contracts is essential to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations of landscaping and groundskeeping teams to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Coordinate project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for landscaping tasks.
  • Review contracts to determine service requirements, labor needs, and equipment specifications.
  • Provide estimates for landscaping projects based on labor, materials, and equipment costs.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding landscaping methods, materials, and pricing.
  • Conduct regular inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Implement safety protocols and ensure team adherence to safety regulations.
  • Train and mentor team members to foster skill development and enhance service quality.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Landscaping and Horticultural Services Supervisor or in a similar management role.
  • Strong knowledge of horticulture, landscaping practices, and grounds maintenance.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret contracts and technical documents.
  • Solid understanding of budgeting and cost estimation in landscaping projects.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and team members.
  • Certification in Horticulture or Landscape Management is preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate landscaping machinery as needed.
