We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Account Officer

Locations: Ikeja, Lagos & Sagamu, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Overview

  • We are seeking two highly motivated and detail-oriented Account Officers to join our finance team in Ikeja and Sagamu, respectively.
  • The ideal candidates will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting overall financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Monitor and report on financial transactions and performance.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external auditors.
  • Support the finance team in other administrative and analytical tasks.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 3–6 years of proven experience in a similar accounting role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • ICAN/ACCA qualification or part qualification is an added advantage.
  • Must reside in or be willing to work in Ikeja or Sagamu, as applicable.
