Job Summary

  • We are seeking a dedicated and self driven Van Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team.
  • You will be responsible for delivering and selling our snack products directly to retail outlets, managing existing customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities within the assigned territory and contribute togrowing our reach while building strong customer relationships on the road.

Responsibilities

  • Serve customers by selling products within a designated geographic area.
  • Meet customer needs by servicing existing accounts.
  • Obtain orders and establish new accounts by planning and organizing a daily work schedule to visit both current and potential sales outlets.
  • Ensure timely delivery and accurate invoicing.
  • Promote and sell our products varieties of snack to increase sales volume and brand visibility.
  • Tailor sales presentations based on the characteristics of the sales outlet or market factors.
  • Focus sales efforts by evaluating the existing and potential volume of dealers.
  • Submit orders using price lists and product literature.
  • Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, including daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
  • Monitor the competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, new products, and delivery services.
  • Effectively manage allocated vehicles and paperwork, adhering to road user laws.
  • Manage products and track customer complaints, providing feedback reports to management.
  • Maintain the brand image in daily interactions and build relationships with the public from a brandperspective.

Qualifications / Experience

  • Proven experience in a similar sales or delivery role (FMCG experience is an advantage)
  • Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to meet sales targets and work independently
  • Physically fit to handle loading and unloading of products
  • Basic understanding of sales reports and inventory tracking.
