Job Title: Customer Acquisition Specialist (Telesales)

Locations: Abuja (FCT) and Lagos

About the Role

  • Hempawa Consult is recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing fintech client seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Customer Acquisition Specialist (Telesales).
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for engaging prospective customers, articulating the value of our client’s solutions, and converting leads into loyal users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate contact with potential customers via phone calls, SMS, and messaging platforms to introduce and promote fintech services.
  • Clearly communicate the benefits and features of the products in relation to identified customer needs.
  • Guide interested prospects through the sign-up and onboarding process with professionalism and clarity.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with leads using CRM tools to track interactions and conversions.
  • Achieve and exceed weekly and monthly targets for customer acquisition and conversion rates.
  • Collaborate closely with internal marketing and product teams to align outreach messaging and ensure a seamless customer journey.
  • Collect and relay customer feedback to support continuous product and service improvement.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in telesales, customer acquisition, or a similar role (preferably within the fintech or tech space).
  • Excellent communication and persuasive selling skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple leads efficiently and maintain high follow-up standards.
  • Proficient in CRM software and customer engagement tools.
  • Goal-oriented with a passion for customer satisfaction and results.
