We are a financial Technology company and one of the first organizations to successfully deploy and manage Point of Sale (POS) terminals. We are licensed by CBN to provide Payment Solution Services - Payment Terminal Service Provider (PTSP) for POS terminal deployment and services, POS Terminal Ownership, Payment Terminal Application developer (PTAD), agency banking, Payment Solution / Application development, Merchant Service aggregation and collections, Payment processing gateway and portals.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Server and Network Administrator

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Summary

• The post holder will be responsible for administering and maintaining end user accounts, permissions, and access rights. 
• Manage and maintain the company network. 
• Manage servers, security solutions, network hardware and equipment and ensure network is in working order. 
• Run security tests, system back-up and recovery.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Fully support, configure, maintain, and upgrade the company’s Linux and Windows servers.
• Install and integrate new server hardware and applications.
• Keep an eye out for needed updates.
• Support and administer third-party applications.
• Ensure network security and connectivity.
• Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, and latency) and test for weaknesses.
• Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords.
• Resolve problems reported by end-user.
• Define network policies and procedures.
• Specify system requirements and design solutions.
• Research and make recommendations on server system administration.

Requirements

• B.Sc Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Two to five years’ experience in Network Administration
• Linux Certification
• Azure Web Service certification
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) CISCO
• IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
• Knowledge of networking services and common networking protocols
• Computer proficiency and understanding of various types of hardware.
• Ability to solve problems and think critically.
• Attention to detail.
• Good Communication skills

• Project management skills.
