Job Title: Logistics Manager

About the Role

  • The Logistics Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring logistics operations such as transportation, warehousing, and distribution for the company.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to support operational needs.
  • Plan and coordinate transportation routes and delivery schedules.
  • Liaise with suppliers, vendors, transport providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Oversee storage and distribution operations, ensuring proper handling of goods.
  • Monitor inventory levels and implement effective stock control systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities, including inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Supervise vehicle dispatch, fuel usage, maintenance schedules, and driver assignments.
  • Ensure fleet safety, compliance with local regulations, and timely servicing.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely acquisition and delivery of goods.
  • Verify goods received against purchase orders and quality standards.
  • Maintain records of logistics operations and prepare periodic reports.
  • Support audits and inspections related to logistics functions.
  • Supervise logistics officers, drivers, warehouse staff, and other relevant personnel.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8 years of relevant experience in logistics or supply chain management.
  • Experience with warehousing, transport coordination, and fleet management.
  • Familiarity with construction logistics is highly preferred.
