Job Title: Shift Operator

Location: Gujeni, Kaduna
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• We are looking for an experienced Shift Operator to manage operations during assigned shifts, ensuring production targets are met, manpower is effectively deployed, and coordination with maintenance teams is seamless.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor shift-wise production activities as per plan.
• Coordinate with electrical and maintenance teams during shifts.
• Conduct regular plant rounds to oversee raw materials, process parameters, and operational activities.
• Interact with operators, address abnormalities, and maintain updated logbooks.
• Manage manpower effectively and provide guidance to the shift team.
• Ensure safety norms are adhered to and maintain high housekeeping standards.
• Promptly report accidents and incidents to the operations head.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 6 years in Pelletisation/Beneficiation/Cement operations, with at least 5 years as a Shift Operator.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Knowledge of pelletisation processes, ERP systems (e.g., Navision/SAP), and MS Office.
• Familiarity with 5S methodology and adaptability under pressure.

Competencies:

• Excellent analytical skills and adaptability.
• Solid understanding of technical systems and operational processes.
