We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Terminal Traffic Control Officer
Location: Mile 2, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Description
- Coordinate and control the movement of containers, truck drivers and operators within the terminal, ensuring efficient utilization of space and resources.
- Schedule and monitor the arrival and departure of containers, taking into account shipping schedules, and customer demands.
- Ensure containers are correctly organized and stacked according to safety guidelines and customer specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of container movements, and inventories, and generate reports for tracking purposes.
- Enforce safety protocols, manage emergency response procedures, and ensure that all personnel and equipment adhere to safety regulations.
Requirements
- HND / B.Sc in any field of study
- 5+ years work experience
- Attention to details
- Organizational skills
- Basic Computer Skills and Good Judgement.
