NGO to Create 1.2m Jobs by 2020

In a bid to ensure that the Nigerian youths attain  necessary innovative training that can support the country's economy, the Young Business Leaders of Nigeria, YBLN, a Non-Governmental Organization, NGO, has disclosed its  plan to work out ways of reducing unemployment to the barest minimum by creating 1.2 million job in 2020.

This was disclosed by TemitayoEtomi, a 33-year old graduate of the United States Mandela Washington Fellowship for YBLN, an entrepreneur and founder of the NGO that  has currently employed and training more than 100 Nigerians.

"The Young Business Leaders of Nigeria is a network of entrepreneurs and young professionals committed to reducing unemployment in Nigeria by at least 25% in the year 2020 through creation of  jobs and improving the skills capacity of unemployed Nigerians," she said.

The event took place  at the United States Consulate Office in Lagos where  Participants of the 2015 Budding Entrepreneurs Programme of the Young Business Leaders of Nigeria were received by the Acting Consul General, Dehab Ghebreab.
