Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Adeniyi Jones - Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. 
  • The role requires strategic planning, market research, and the ability to close deals that align with the company’s goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement growth strategies focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing clients
  • Negotiate and close business deals
  • Prepare and deliver effective pitches, proposals, and presentations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met
  • Attend industry events, meetings, and networking opportunities
  • Achieve sales targets and KPIs as set by management
  • Provide regular reports on progress and forecasting
  • Identify new market trends and competitor activities

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
  • MBA or professional certifications in sales/marketing (an advantage)

Experience:

  • 3–5 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role
  • Strong track record of achieving targets and growing a business
  • Experience in client-facing roles and B2B sales is preferred

Other Requirements:

  • Must be willing to travel occasionally for meetings and networking
  • Must have a proactive and professional attitude
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Background check may be required.
