Job Title: Business Development Manager

Job Summary
- The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the Oil and Gas / Manufacturing engineering industry and have proven expertise in sales, client relations, and market analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective business development strategies to increase company revenue and expand market reach.
- Identify, engage, and establish long-term relationships with prospective clients in the electrical engineering sector.
- Lead efforts to generate and qualify new business leads, and pursue opportunities in line with the company’s goals.
- Create and deliver impactful presentations and proposals tailored to meet client needs.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for expansion.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, project management, and marketing, to align business development efforts with service offerings.
- Negotiate and close deals, ensuring favorable terms that meet both client needs and company profitability goals.
- Manage client onboarding processes and ensure seamless transition to project teams.
- Prepare and present regular business development reports to senior management, including performance metrics and sales forecasts.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or client relations within the engineering, construction, or industrial sector; experience in electrical engineering is preferred.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of the electrical engineering industry and market dynamics.
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends and translate them into business opportunities.
- Strategic mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Highly motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for client engagement and relationship building.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
