We are recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location:
Lagos

Job Summary
  • The basic function of the Business Development Manager will be to grow the company’s business in line with their current strategy to increase their presence in the commercial construction industry in Nigeria.
Responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Prospect new potential clients within the commercial construction industry
  • Present, negotiate and conclude type of contracts with clients
  • Follow up with the client along the execution of a project
  • Negotiate potential contract adaptations or extensions when needed
  • Liaise internally with other departments such as finance, HR
  • Act as resource person for management with respect to Sales and Marketing issues
  • Identify profitable businesses and aggressively sell the company’s services
  • Assess targeted quality of business coming in and re-focus efforts
  • Develop winning proposals and presentation materials
  • Lead a team on board room style presentations
  • Close deals
  • Build relationships with customers
  • Manage CRM and reporting pipelines
Requirements
  • Minimum First Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or other relevant qualification with relevant training
  • 7-10 years post-qualification experience in procurement under externally assisted projects.
  • Good communication and writing skills, and good working knowledge of Microsoft office suite.
