Job Title: Maintenance Officer

Reports To: Facilities Manager

Position Summary

• We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general facility maintenance, with specialized expertise in the repair and upkeep of gym equipment. 
• This role is critical to ensuring the safety, reliability, and optimal performance of all equipment and infrastructure within our facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on gym equipment, including treadmills, ellipticals, weight machines, and free weight apparatus.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues with gym equipment.
• Maintain maintenance logs and service records for all equipment.
• Ensure all facilities (e.g., lighting, plumbing, HVAC systems) are functioning properly.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Liaise with equipment manufacturers and service providers when necessary.
• Assist in facility improvement projects and renovations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in general maintenance and gym equipment repair.
• Technical certification in electrical, mechanical, or a related field preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and preventative maintenance techniques.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Working Conditions:

• Physically demanding role involving lifting, climbing, and operating tools.

Salary
N90,000 - N100,000 perr month.
