Tastee Fried Chicken was founded by Olayinka Pamela Adedayo. It began as an extension of Tastee Pot, an outdoor catering company serving Nigerian and continental food at special events. The catering company still exists as Tastee Fried Chicken's catering operation. In 1997 Mrs. Adedayo incorporated Tastee Fried Chicken and opened her first location in Surulere, Lagos State. She based her restaurant on the business model of the American fast food chicken restaurant Kentucky Fried Chicken, where she had previously worked as a manager. Since opening its first location, it has grown to 14 restaurants.

Today, Tastee Fried Chicken has 5 TTC(Tastee Turbo Café) with others in different locations across Lagos State and still growing. It is a Place for career growth and development.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Bakery Manager

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Main Accountabilities

  • Overseeing the bakery department/store management
  • Ensuring bakery staff deliver outstanding customer service
  • Ensuring staff greet customers in a welcoming manner
  • Ordering bakery items using electronic ordering devices
  • Delegating tasks on a daily basis
  • Implementing advertising and marketing strategies
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety procedures/ensuring food safety standards are met
  • Maintaining extensive knowledge of baking techniques and bakery products
  • Presenting specialty cakes
  • Training staff on pastry making and store rules/staff training
  • Directing Pastry Chefs
  • Creating bakery department policies and procedures and workplace practices/enforcing company policies and overall company practices
  • Ensuring bakery product quality through quality control
  • Ensure adequate product quantity
  • Presenting baked goods
  • Ordering cleaning supplies
  • Monitoring inventory levels/Inventory control
  • Maintaining proof boxes
  • Organize and plan sales
  • Coordinating activities with other departments
  • Introducing quick sale items for creating increased sales
  • Updating computer software
  • Any other duties as may be assigned.

Requirements

  • A Higher National Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts, Culinary Management, Business and Hospitality Management, or Hotel and Catering Management.

Other Required Competencies:

  • Outstanding problem-solving skills. Excellent management skills. Effective communication skills. Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Monitoring decorating standards

Salary
N200,000 - N300,000 / month.
