Job Title: Team Lead, Construction

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Summary

  • To support our next phase of growth, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Team Lead to join our team

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities.
  • Manage and control project costs, ensuring adherence to budget.
  • Prepare tender and contract documents.
  • Evaluate and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular cost reports.
  • Identify and analyze potential risks and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Value completed work and process payments.
  • Prepare final accounts and negotiate settlements.
  • Provide advice on contractual and commercial matters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Building technology, Construction Management. 
  • Masters will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 6 years proven experience as a Team Lead or Supervisor in the Building Construction industry
  • Extensive knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to solve problems, make decisions, and manage conflicts effectively.
  • Thorough understanding of Nigerian building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
  • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
  • COREN certification.
