Job Title: Senior Financial Accountant

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure that the financial transactions of the Company are accurately captured and prepares the Management Accounts.
• Develop and manage budgets of forecasts, assist in the timely completion of Statutory Accounts.
• Conduct financial analysis and provides insights.
• Ensure confidentiality and safe keeping of accounting records and documents.
• Adhere to financial and accounting control procedures of the Company.
• Carry out monthly Tax Returns (PAYE, VAT, Withholding Tax etc.).
• Recommend cost-saving initiatives and process enhancements.

Education and Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as: Accounting, Finance, Business Administration.
• Working knowledge and experience of an accounting software / ERP.
• Professional Certification such as ACA, ACCA is necessary.
• Knowledge of applicable tax laws, codes and regulations in the industry.
• Good Management and Financial Reporting skills.
• Candidates should not be more than 35 years of age.
