Job Descriptions
  • Incumbent works with the medical and case management teams to provide clinical and case specific supervision and case management services to dients and their families with treatment adherence issues and/or unstable status related to disease management.
  • Provide individual, family, and group adherence support and education; provide technical assistance to case management staff regarding disease and medication management.
  • Ensure that patients enrolled are provided with comprehensive health education and information about HIV(AIDS, STI, Positive Living and ARV drugs.
  • Participate in building the capacity of adherence team to perform assessment counseling with ARV candidates, identify potential strengths and weaknesses in relation to predicted drug adherence.
  • Oversee training of health care workers and PLHIV in adherence support.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Ability
  • Degree in Health Education, Public Health or relevant field.
  • At least 3 years’ post NYSC Experience working with HIV/AIDS and Antiretroviral treatments.
  • Willingness to participate in HIV-related training and meetings.
  • Ability to organize and coordinate diverse activities.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and make reasoned judgments in a timely fashion.
