Job Title: Production Pharmacist

Location: Isolo, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: Production Manager

Job Summary

• The Production Pharmacist will be responsible for overseeing pharmaceutical drug production activities and ensuring adherence to standard manufacturing protocols. 
• The ideal candidate must demonstrate leadership ability, strong communication skills, and experience supervising staff on the production floor.

Responsibilities
Production Oversight:

• Supervise and manage 20 - 25 staff members on the manufacturing floor
• Ensure adherence to pharmaceutical manufacturing standards and processes
• Monitor production activities for efficiency and quality
• Collaborate with other departments to meet production targets

Compliance & Process Improvement:

• Identify and resolve production issues quickly
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Maintain documentation of production processes
• Recommend improvements for enhanced productivity and quality

Communication & Reporting:

• Maintain strong interpersonal relationships with colleagues
• Provide regular updates and reports to the Production Manager
• Participate in problem-solving meetings and decision-making processes

Requirements

• Minimum of a B.Pharm Degree
• Proven experience in pharmaceutical drug production
• Ability to lead a team of 20–25 staff
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Demonstrated perseverance and attention to detail
