Job Title: Feedmill Foreman

Location: Asaba, Delta

Job Summary

• The Feed Mill Foreman plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity, traceability, and efficiency of feed production by managing the accurate handling and documentation of premix requisition, usage, and mixing operations. 
• This role is primarily responsible for coordinating the timely requisition of premixes from the Feed Mill Supervisor based on the production plan, verifying that the correct type and quantity of premix is received, and ensuring its proper incorporation into the mixer.

Key Responsibilities

• Raise timely and accurate premix requisition duly signed by the Feed Mill Supervisor based on daily production schedules and formulation needs.
• Verify that received premixes match the requisition in terms of type, quantity, and batch number.
• Timely release of premix/micro-ingredients into the mixer at the correct stage of the batching process to ensure uniform blending.
• Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to management.
• Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely supply and dispatch of materials.

Requirements

• Minimum of an OND in Mechanical Engineering, Animal Science, or a related field.
• At least 3 years’ experience in a feedmill or similar manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of feedmill machines and production processes.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
