Job Title: Production Associate

Location: Asaba, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Production Associate is responsible for supporting all aspects of feed production in a commercial feed mill environment. 
• This includes the operation of feed manufacturing equipment, quality control checks, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with company and regulatory standards. 
• The associate plays a critical role in maintaining consistent product quality and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow daily production schedules and batching instructions to meet production targets.
• Weigh and measure raw materials according to formulas and feed specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, storage areas, and equipment.
• Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor promptly.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Requirements

• Minimum of a First School Leaving Certificate or equivalent, SSCE / High School Diploma; OND preferred.
• Prior experience in a feed mill, food production, or similar manufacturing environment is an advantage.
• Good attention to detail/Basic math and reading skills.
• Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) is a plus.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills.
