Job Title: Senior Technician

Location: Apapa, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time, On-site
Department: Workshop
Reports to: Supervisors / Lead Technician

Job Summary

• The Senior Technician is responsible for dismantling, assembling, installing, and maintaining various rotating equipment including pumps, compressors, and blowers. 
• The role requires hands-on technical skill, HSE compliance, teamwork, and basic reporting/documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Overhaul and assemble mechanical equipment per specifications.
• Use precision tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to inspect parts.
• Operate workshop equipment including balancing and alignment tools.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain clean workspaces.
• Guide junior technicians when needed.
• Document daily tasks and prepare basic reports.

Requirements

• ND in Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant mechanical experience.
• Proficiency in workshop tools and mechanical repairs.
• HSE awareness and physical fitness.
• Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office, email).
• Strong team spirit and attention to detail.
