Bursar at the Ekiti State College of Health Sciences and Technology, Ijero-Ekiti

Ekiti State College of Health Sciences and Technology, ljero-Ekiti was established by the Ekiti State Government Law (Re-enactment) No 16, 2019. It is located along Epe Road, Ijero-Ekiti, about 50 minutes' drive from the state capital, Ado Ekiti. The Institution translated from the erstwhile School of Health Technology, in January, 2011 and was borne out of the need to produce qualified middle level Health Professionals that will render Primary Health Care Services, in line with the Global Concept of Community Health.

Details

• The Bursar is a Principal Officer and the Chief Financial Officer of the College. 
• He/She is responsible to the Provost for the day-to-day administration and control of the finances of the college and the coordination of the bursary of the college.

Qualities and Qualifications
The prospective applicant must possess the following qualifications:

• Possess a good University Degree or its equivalent in the relevant field (possession of a higher Degree will be an added advantage).
• Have a minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Deputy Bursar of a Higher Institution or its equivalent.
• Be a Professional Chartered Accountant registered with the relevant professional bodies, that is, ICAN or ANAN.
• Not be more than 60 years by 2nd October, 2025.
• Have a medical certificate of fitness from a Government Hospital.
• Be proficient in information and Communication Technology (ICT).

Terms of Appointment and Conditions of Service

• The appointment is for a single term of five (5) years- Non-renewable. 

Remuneration

• The salary is consolidated and comparable to other Tertiary Institutions. 
• The appointee shall enjoy other benefits of Office as may be approved from time to time by the Governing Council.
