Job Title: Mill Manager

Job Description

• Plan, organize, and oversee mill operations. Ensure optimal production levels, quality, and efficiency.
• Monitor and control production costs. Develop and implement production schedules.
• Oversee maintenance and repair of equipment. Ensure plant reliability and uptime. Manage maintenance budget. Implement predictive maintenance programs.
• Ensure quality of crude palm oil (CPO) and palm kernel oil (PKO). Implement quality control procedures.
• Monitor laboratory testing and analysis. Address quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations. Implement environmental management systems.
• Monitor and control waste management. Conduct risk assessments.
• Lead and manage mill staff. Conduct performance evaluations. Foster a positive work culture.
• Manage mill budget. Control operating cost. Optimize resource utilization. Ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Oversee raw material sourcing. Manage inventory levels. Coordinate logistics and transportation.
• Overall, in charge of mill operation, Manage Mill operations in effective and efficient manner ensuring optimum level of productivity.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations. Monitor changes in regulations.
• Identify areas for improvement. Implement process optimization. Foster innovation and creativity.

Requirements
Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineer, Chemical Engineer, Agriculture Engineer, or related field.
• Master’s degree or MBA (preferred).

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil Palm Milling Operations.
• Proven track records of improving mill efficiency and productivity.
• Experience in managing teams and leading projects. Professional Certificate:
• Certified Palm Oil professional (CPOP).
• Certified Mill Manager (CMM).
• Certified Quality Manager (CQM).
• Environmental management certifications.

Salary
N3,600,000 – N5,400,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
