Job description
- Deploy, maintain, monitor and support all Windows infrastructure-related activities
- Building and configuring systems (hardware, software, file systems),
- Work closely with other departments to identify, recommend, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions in a project oriented environment.
- Manage the design, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade and support of all Windows servers, hardware, software and peripherals.
- Manage the design, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade and support of all VMWare systems.
- Benchmark, analyze and report on the Windows and VMWare infrastructure and systems.
- Keep current with the latest technologies; willing to accept future training and certification.
- Practice asset management for Windows hardware, software and equipment and ensure that IBM asset management policies are adhered to by the team.
- Act as member of a ticket queue system to address and resolve day to day support requests from the business.
- Manage and support MS Windows architecture and system level resources.
- Hardware and peripheral installation, maintenance.
- Automation and scripting
- On-call availability.
- Platform Capacity Utilization Administration.
- Change Management and Platform Optimization.
- Take the lead on Business Systems services projects.
- Liaise with third party support vendors for the support contract execution/implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 2 years experience in MS Windows platforms.
- At least 2 years experience in .ITIL
- At least 2 years experience in VMWare ESX / ESXi and Virtual Center.
- At least 2 years experience in Windows architecture and system level resources
- At least 2 years experience in IP networks and principals
- At least 2 years experience in Microsoft Office
- At least 2 years experience in Project Management
- English: Fluent
Preferred
- Master's Degree
- At least 3 years experience in MS Windows platforms.
- At least 3 years experience in .ITIL
- At least 3 years experience in VMWare ESX / ESXi and Virtual Center.
