Job Title: Junior Accountant

Location: Ebute Metta, Lagos

Job Summary

• As the Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing our financial operations.
• The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting expertise, a deep understanding of financial reporting standards, and hands-on experience with QuickBooks and other accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report on budget performance, cash flow, and key financial metrics.
• Prepare accurate financial statements in compliance with IFRS or local GAAP.
• Assist management with financial planning, forecasting, and decision-making.
• Oversee accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and tax filings.
• Manage and maintain general ledger accounts, journal entries, and reconciliations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in an EdTech or technology-driven company.
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks.

Salary
N200,000 - N300,000 per month.
