Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensures planning and implementation of project activities;
- Collects, analyzes and collates national reports of the National Coordination Committees on multilateral surveillance;
- Draw up bi-annual implementation reports of multilateral surveillance;
- Draws up Monitoring and Evaluation reports;
- Executes all tasks are carried-out as required by superior officers.
Qualifications/Experience/Skills
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Economics or related fields
- Minimum of ten years post-qualification experience, of which two years must have been at a management level in the areas of executing multilateral surveillance missions.
- Proven experience in drawing up a multilateral surveillance report.
- Proven working experience in public finance and formation of economic policies.
- Proven experience in the use of tools for forecasting and macroeconomics analysis.
- Candidates should not be 50 years old or over at the point of recruitment and must be a citizen of one of the ECOWAS member states.
- Must be fluent in one of the official languages of the Commission; English, French and Portuguese. A working knowledge of another would be an advantage.
