Job Title: Management Accountant
Location: Lagos
Key Responsibilities
- Performing bank reconciliations, vendor and customer reconciliations
- Supporting with external and internal audit, including preparing audit schedules and anchoring both external and internal audits.
- Supporting payroll and pension matters, including preparing related schedules and returns; processing remittances and distributing related advices
- Supporting with miscellaneous tax matters and compliance, including preparing returns for all statutory taxes, processing payments and distributing related advices
- In the absence of the Accounts Officer, supporting with Payable and Receivables processing
Skills Requirements:
- Good Interpersonal skills and people management
- Ability to properly strategize to achieve results and work with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical and commercial reporting skill
- Computer literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft office suite and accounting applications
- Strong verbal and written communication
Educational/Professional Qualification and Experience
- Professional Accounting Qualification and Membership (ACA or ACCA)
- First degree with minimum of 2nd Class Upper in Accounting or Finance
- Maximum of 5 years post qualification experience in a reputable organization
- Experience in the educational institutions or related services will be an added advantage
- Age bracket: 30 - 35 years First degree with minimum of 2nd Class Upper in Accounting or Finance
