Chemonics International, an international development firm based in Washington, D.C., seeks professionals for the anticipated USAID-funded Nigeria Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (RMNCH) Project, a five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. Recognizing the window of opportunity to improve upon primary health care in Nigeria, this activity will contribute to state-level reduction in under-five and maternal mortality, and to increased capacity of health systems (public and private) to sustainably support access to primary health care. Chemonics will work closely with and support state governments, while strengthening their capacity in developing a robust plan for the health sector annually and provide support for its implementation.

Requirements
  • Master's Degree or higher in - Public Health, Epidemiology, Demography, Economics, Health Systems or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in global health preferably in Monitoring and Evaluation, Research, Health Systems Strengthening and/or Quality Improvement
  • Demonstrated experience with quantitative and qualitative data collection, management and analysis, including proficiency in use of statistical packages and Microsoft Excel
  • Demonstrated expertise and understanding of quality improvement approaches
  • Successful experience presenting data and information in compelling ways to different audiences
  • Exceptional verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills in English
