Overall Responsibilities

- Together with our partners, we are helping managers and leaders in developing countries to create stronger management systems that improve health services for the greatest health impact.
Project Summary
- MSH is currently preparing for an upcoming USAID- funded health system strengthening, maternal, new born and child health and family planning/reproductive health projects in Northern Nigeria.
Specific Responsibilities
- Assess and develop as needed health system strengthening plans in coordination with state and relevant local representatives to assure agreement and ownership of planned activities.
- Manage the development, implementation, and monitoring of the Project’s technical assistance activities to strengthen Nigeria’s RH/ FP/MCH service delivery system with a focus on improving outcomes at the State level.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, or related Degree relevant to the broad areas of health systems strengthening.
- Minimum of 8 years senior-level experience in health systems strengthening, quality management, or quality assurance programming in Africa, preferably in Northern Nigeria.
